Ladies Aid meets on Thursdays at 10:00 a.m.
The first meeting of the LIGHT Junior High Core Group will be September 7 at 6:30 p.m. at Ross and Chris Logan’s house.
The Area Revival will be September 12, 19, 26 and October 3 at 6:30 p.m. at the Campbellsburg Christian Church Youth Building. On September 12, Mt. Tabor is helping with refreshments. We are to provide finger foods. There is a sign-up sheet on the foyer table.
The Young at Heart will be going to Stoll’s Lakeview Restaurant at Loogootee on September 13. We will be leaving the church at 10:45 a.m.
The Women’s Bible Study will resume September 13 at 6:30 p.m. We will be studying Beth Moore: Daniel. We will meet every other Monday evening. Please sign up on the sheet on the foyer table so we can order workbooks. Workbooks are $15. Please see Shayna Rosenbaum for more information.
The first meeting of the SALT Senior High Core Group will be on September 14 at 7:00 p.m. at John and Cheryl Trinkle’s house.
There will be a Beth Moore simulcast on September 18 from 10:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at Central Baptist Church in Paoli. The doors open at 9:00 a.m. The cost is $25. The registration fee includes a box lunch. RSVP by contacting Rhonda Sailer at 569-4085 or 723-3528. Due to the length of the event, no child care will be provided.
The Men’s Bible Study will resume our classes on Monday night, September 20. We'll meet again, always on Mondays, the following dates: September 27, October 4, October 18, October 25, November 1, November 15, and finally on November 22. This will conclude our study before Thanksgiving. We will begin each evening at 7:00 p.m. and do our best to finish at 8:15 p.m.
The youth in Jr. and Sr. High will be going to Dive Christian Church in Bedford on October 1 for a "Journey Through Hell." Please sign up on the Youth Bulletin Board.
A trip to Cornucopia is being planned on September 26 for Jr. and Sr. High. Lunch will be provided. Children in 5th grade and younger are welcome if they are accompanied by an adult. Sign up on the Youth Bulletin Board.
Sisters in Christ will be sending college care packages again this year. If you have a child in college, please give their address to Pam Haendiges.
If you haven’t had the chance to get to know the kids in our high school youth group, you’re missing out! We need 6 people who are able to attend one Wednesday night program sometime during the school year. If you’re interested, please see Eric Scott for details.
